Remake del quarto episodio in ordine numerico della serie, Dragon Quest: The Chapters of the Chosen un classico titolo RPG, interessante sotto molti punti di vista. Si tratta in effetti del primo vero capitolo della serie in uscita per Nintendo DS in Europa. The Chapter of the Chosen presenta una trama ed una profondit di gioco ben sviluppate. Diviso in cinque capitoli, il titolo non manca di sicuro di unottima longevit di gioco. Inoltre, tutte le caratteristiche stilistiche ben riconoscibili tipiche della serie DQ sono ben caratterizzate su Nintendo DS. Colori, musiche, effetti sonori, personaggi e ambientazioni denotano una certa cura nella produzione. Laspetto pi innovativo evidenziato nella presentazione uninteressante sistema di camera che permette una libera rotazione della classica visuale isometrica. Inoltre, la visualizzazione delle sessioni di gioco attivo si estende su entrambi gli schermi del DS. Questo rende lutilizzo dello stilo della console non necessario o addirittura superfluo. Dragon Quest: The Chapter of the Chosen rappresenta un titolo destinato sia ai fan di DQ e agli appassionati delle saghe Square Enix possessori di console DS, ma anche a coloro che desiderano vivere unavventura profonda ed immersiva con molte ore di gioco a disposizione. Caratteristiche: Storia unica, divisa in 5 capitoli, che si spiega mentre il giocatore segue gli eroi attraverso un mondo colorato e pieno zeppo di mostri e tesori straordinari.
