Con una fase di sviluppo di oltre tre anni e il doppio della capacit produttiva di qualsiasi altro precedente titolo Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed III stato definito il pi grande progetto nella storia della societ e sar rilasciato per Xbox 360, PlayStation3, Windows PC e WiiU, la prossima console di Nintendo. Assassin's Creed III attualmente sviluppato dal team di Ubisoft Montreal in collaborazione con altri sei studi Ubisoft. Ambientato alla fine del 18 secolo, durante la guerra di indipendenza americana, Assassin's Creed III introduce un nuovo eroe, Ratohnhak: Ton, di origini sia native americane che inglesi. Dopo aver adottato il nome di Connor, il protagonista diventa la nuova voce della giustizia nell'antico conflitto tra Assassini e Templari. I giocatori assumeranno cos il ruolo di un Assassino nella guerra per la libert contro la spietata tirannia degli inglesi e vivranno una delle esperienze di combattimento pi realistiche e intense mai apparse nella serie. La trama di Assassin's Creed III si svolge durante la Rivoluzione Americana e condurr i giocatori da remote terre di confine a vivaci citt coloniali, fino a caotici campi di battaglia, dove l'Esercito Continentale di George Washington affronter le imponenti truppe inglesi.
